Hi I'm Jim

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Tacoma, Washington. I have lived in the state of Washington most of my life. I am a Husband, Father, Grandfather (PaPa) and a PGA Golf Professional. I am a fifth generation Mormon. My Grandparents moved to Tacoma, Washington in 1927. Both sides of my family are members of the “Mormon” Church. I grew up near a golf course where I worked and played golf. I met my wife here in Washington and we were married in the Seattle Temple. My wife and I were blessed with four daughters. The youngest we still enjoy at home with us and the other three have been married in the same Seattle Temple. Our family with son in laws and grandkids is now at 12 1/2.

Why I am a Mormon

The Gospel of Jesus Christ helps me to be the best person I can possibly be. I know living and following the principles of the Church as well as being a kind and loving husband, a loving and supportive father, a dedicated and honest employee and a service oriented individual at Church and in the Community will bring tremendous joy and happiness in my life. Following this course will bring great blessings in my life. At times when I falter, God’s plan provides a mulligan to help me get back on track. I am grateful to be a member of this Church.

How I live my faith

Each day I arise, I pray for courage and strength to live my Faith. I set daily and weekly goals on how to be a better husband, father, employee and person. I know that if I accomplish these goals and keep the commandments I will be a better person. Each Sunday, I can evaluate how I have done and make new goals and do better the upcoming week.
