Hi I'm Jen

I'm a wife to a wonderful man, mother to 4 fabulous children and a friend to all. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love all things crafty. I love doing girly things my girls. I love to curl up on the bed or by a pool with a good book. I love to hang out with my boy. I love to ride my bike. I love good food. I love to bloghop. I love to go with good friends to get a treat after a bad day. I love to date my husband. I love having family over for dinner. I love games.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in the church is a good place to start in answering the "why I'm a Mormon" question. I was raised Mormon but like all members of the church there has to be a time when you decide for yourself that the church is true. That time came for me as senior in high school sitting on a bench talking with a friend of another faith. He was asking me why we were here on earth and where we would go when we die. In answering those questions for him and knowing that what I was telling him was true. I realized that somewhere along the way I changed from just "going to church" to absolutely know the church was true and being grateful for the testimony I had so I could share just a piece of the gospel with him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by remembering that I am a daughter of God. I make mistakes but know that I can repent of them and be forgiven. I try to set a good example to those around me. With in the church I teach the 16-18 year old girls on Sundays and participate in their midweek activities with them. I absolutely love doing this and have learned so much from my service. I love the different opportunities that I have had to serve within the church and am grateful for the lessons learned and the testimony I have gained through doing so.
