Hi I'm Rex

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Native Idahoan, mortgage banker by trade, BYU alum, true aggie (Go USU!), runner, mountain biker, guitar player, golfer, chocolate lover, Mr. Frugal, teaser, great listener, father of 3 little girls, smitten with said girls

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because over the course of my life I have had opportunities to learn principles taught by Christ or His prophets, and as I exercised faith, and tried to live those principles, I found out they were good. They made me happy and brought me joy and peace….even when times were tough. The things I have learned at church have helped form the way I approach conflict, problems, and love for my fellow man. This gospel strengthens my family, makes me a better father, and even helps me push to be a better employee.

How I live my faith

I believe that by small and simple acts, I can help make the world around me a better place. I am not perfect by any means. I try to say “hello” to show kindness to those I interact with. I run and tickle and read to my kids. I also try to show loving discipline to them. I try to show my wife how much I love and respect her...how she makes my life sweet. My wife and I lead Family Home Evenings on Monday nights where we share a Gospel center message, we also pray with our kids and read scriptures with them. (They are small, and need a solid foundation that can weather the storms of life. ) I attend church on Sundays and am an active in my church responsibilities. I support our local missionaries in their efforts, visit families who may be in need and I try to show kindness and consideration to others no matter their background or appearance.
