Hi I'm George

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of three wonderful children and I am married to the woman of my dreams! Books are what I enjoy the most, which is good since I am a librarian. I have been working as a librarian for about six years and can't believe that I get paid to play with books, CD, DVD, video games, ebooks, ereaders, tablets, computers, etc. all day long. Well, it is not all fun and games, I have to prepare budgets, supervise staff, and deal with patron issues. I also enjoy being outside and enjoying this awsome world our Father in Heaven created for us. Most of all, I enjoy playing with my children and spending time with my wife.

Why I am a Mormon

I started out as a member of the church because of my parents. They gave me the foundation that I needed to make the decision for myself. I remember hearing about the "First Vision", really hearing it and knowing that it was true and that our Father in Heaven loves us enough to keep in touch and bring order from the confusion of the multiple Christian beliefs. Through the repentance process, I have grown to rely on the Atonment of Jesus Christ and the love of our Eternal Father. I am mormon because the doctrine taught is simple and true. God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are one in purpose, but seperate beings of flesh and bone working to bring all of us home. Our Saviour, Jesus Christ, loves us and knows what we go through each day. He suffered for our sins and knows each of us personally. God the Father gave his Only Begotten in the flesh, so that we can be made whole. Joseph Smith was a prophet of God much the same as Moses, Noah, and Isaiah. The Book of Mormon is the Word of God and stands with the Bible as a witness of Jesus Christ. I am greatful that someday, Christ will stand with me at the judgement bar and provide for me a way home. Jesus lives, God the Father loves us, and the Holy Ghost will guide.

How I live my faith

Day to day. I am not perfect, but I strive to be like my Father in Heaven.
