Hi I'm Ann

I'm a nurse, a quilter, an adventurer, and a grandma. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to make things: cinnamon bread, quilts, trips, and friends. I love being a nurse, meeting and treating people, and hearing their stories. I work hard at getting up every morning and doing something physical and fun: Zumba, hiking, biking, swimming, racquetball, tennis, and cardio activities in the gym. I love talking and playing with my children and my grand kids.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the Church and always knew it was true. I lived God's commandments as I learned them and figured out really fast that life was much better that way. When I was 13 I learned I needed to read my scriptures every day. I read the New Testament, then The Book of Mormon. As I read, I felt strongly the scriptures were true and used them as my guide to living. I love being married to my husband for eternity. The highlight of my life has been seeing our children marry in the temple and earn that same blessing. I know the Church is true. It is a treasure in my life that I value with all my heart. The Lord has blessed me with answers to all my questions through it.

How I live my faith

I'm big on service. I have callings in the Church and get to serve in so many ways. I've learned how to be a leader, a giver, and a gracious receiver through my callings. I give in the community through local and international nursing organizations, volunteering in the schools, helping at the local Catholic women's center, and in other ways. I have always taken my kids with me so they could learn to love service too. Now they contribute where they live. Service is never convenient, but it's my way of expressing my love for others and my appreciation to God for all my amazing blessings.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?
