Hi I'm Tina

I'm a wife, mom of 3 young adults and step-mom to 2. I'm a convert of 3 years and never knew I could be this happy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the wife of an amazing man and mom to 5 fantastic, young adults (3 mine, 2 his). I love old movies, reading, traveling with my husband and interior design. I find great joy in keeping a house for my husband and I, that is full of love and a shelter from the cares of the world.

Why I am a Mormon

The first 40 years of my life where spent searching for peace of mind and heart. I struggled with looking for those things in all of the wrong places. Meeting my husband, who was born into the LDS faith, changed my life. After turning my back, in my youth, on all things "religious", I found the peace I was searching for in my Heavenly Father and His son, Jesus Christ. After reading the Book of Mormon and asking for an answer to my question "is this the true church?", I was filled with a knowing that told me, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that this church is true. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and knows me. I know that his son, my brother Jesus Christ, gave his life for me. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and brought the true church back to this earth. I have a peace in my heart now, that I never thought was possible, and I am so grateful.

How I live my faith

At 3 months of age, I was adopted into a loving, Christian home. I knew just a little bit about my birth mother and the circumstances of my birth and her having to give me up. When I was 24 and a mother of 3, I searched and was able to find her, as well as my birth father. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints, I have the honor and joy to be able to do my family genealogy for both sides of my birth family as well as my adopted family. And to do their work in the temple. I know that I have family, on the other side, waiting for me to find them. I want them to have what I have, and it gives me great joy to be able to provide that for them. I also teach Sunday School in the Primary of our ward. I love the fact that as I am teaching these 7 and 8 year olds, I am also learning and growing in the gospel. I live my faith daily in thought, action and words. I want to live a life that keeps me worthy to be a supportive, loving partner in all things, to my husband, an example to my children, the children I teach and provide saving ordinances for my ancestors.
