Hi I'm Kristin

I'm a stay-at-home mother of 3, a bookworm, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from college at the age of 30. I completed two years of my degree at the university; then because of changes in my life, I completed the rest of my degree through independent study. While I completed my schooling my husband graduated from college and then completed his law degree, we had two children, and many other challenges and struggles. During school I rediscovered my love of reading when I had the opportunity of taking a children's literature class. Going to the library has become a favorite family activity. Some people get a rush from shopping, I get a rush from bringing home a bag of books. My husband and I have created a whole family of bookworms. We often find children up late at night reading in bed.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Mormon faith. I find great comfort and peace in the teachings of this gospel. My husband and I encountered trials along our road to having children. Through a stillbirth and two miscarriages, I relied heavily on personal prayer and the peace that only our Savior Jesus Christ can bring in times of difficulty. The principle of being a family for eternity is very important to me.

How I live my faith

I serve in my church as a secretary to the organization for the young women of our congregation ages 12 to 18. I enjoy being with these great girls. I daily live my faith by reading scriptures with my family and on my own and praying daily.
