Hi I'm Randy

I'm a Mormon. I love art, music and drama.

About Me

I played the trumpet in band during high school. I also was a tenor in choir. I have also performed in three high school musicals and one play. I enjoy drawing and working with clay. I have the rank of eagle in Boy Scouts and I am currently serving a full time mission for my church in North Carolina.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a Mormon but I have come to know for myself that this church is true. When I was young I had ordinary doubts and fears. But as I turned to God in prayer I discovered that he was real and mindful of me. As I have grown up this Gospel has refined me. Through every hard moment I was able to pull through because He was supporting me. I have asked God if the Book of Mormon was true. I know that it is true because of his answers. I have felt the love of God in my life and there is nothing sweeter or more inspiring. I also know that Jesus is the Christ. Thanks to him we can live with God again and have eternal life.

How I live my faith

In my church I have been blessed to help other members through home teaching where members go and teach other members in their homes and offer any needed assistance. I have been able to teach lessons and assist in replacing a roof through home teaching. Our church offers a scripture class called seminary that met at 6:00 AM nearly every school day during my time at high school. During this class I was able to read the entire Bible, Book of Mormon and other scriptures of this church. The scriptures help keep me close to God when I read them every day. I have also partisipated in service through the Boy Scouts of America. Serving a mission has helped me learn to feel the Love that God and Jesus Christ have for all people.
