Hi I'm Jennifer

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I’m a fun loving mom who loves to cook. I grew up in Northern California, The Bay Area, I was a bit of a tomboy, a class clown, and I have a ridiculous amount of stubbornness and determination. I love living in Texas with my hard working husband and 5 handsome little boys. We live in a picturesque little lake town just outside Austin, rolling hills on one side and a beautiful lake on the other. I have my own Baby Sleep Training business, which I enjoy because I create my own flexible schedule so I can spend more time with my family. I love being a full time mother and housewife, it’s what I’d always hoped for! I’m so thankful to be able to be home for my boys when they come home from school each day, I love hearing about their day, watching them laugh and carry on. It’s moments like those that keep me going. I love coming up with exciting recipes, especially with my husband and kids, I enjoy Zumba, travel, scrapbooking, and photography.

Why I am a Mormon

This is certainly a popular question asked of me! Simply, it brings incredible joy to my life. I wake up everyday with a sense of peace and hope because of my faith. Life can be hard, but being a Mormon seems to make it that little bit easier, to make better choices, to quickly pick yourself up when you fall, to pray for help, to cherish life and to “come what may and love it”. I feel so blessed to have found the church and to be able to raise my boys in this faith. I grew up Catholic, even went to Catholic school. I knew Mormons as kind and giving individuals. Their faith seemed to me, to be based upon serving others. I am so thankful to have called upon the missionaries and receive the lessons of the Mormon faith. That decision has forever changed myself and my family.

How I live my faith

Mormons live good lives, love family, love healthy living, love hard work, love helping others, love honesty, love prayer, love family history, and most importantly love Jesus Christ. This is how I live my faith, by doing all these things and smiling along the way. I love that we have Family Home Evening on Monday nights where we spend time talking about our week, reading children’s scripture stories, followed by doing something fun as a family such as a game or an outing. This simple task of spending time together makes our home a more peaceful environment. A wonderful part of the Mormon faith is the belief that we will be together as a family beyond this life, for eternity. This belief gives me even more determination to live my faith daily by being the best mom, wife, sister, daughter and friend I can be.
