Hi I'm K. J. Whiting

I play soccer, I'm a musician, and I'm finally a missionary. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I graduated high school in May, 2013. I had a lot of fun while I was at Round Valley High School; I played soccer, ran track, played French Horn in the band, sang with the choir and acted in the school Musicals. But my whole life has been focused on what I'm doing right now . . . serving a mission! As a missionary, I enjoy the priviledge of serving others and teaching about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I can't think of anything else I'd rather do.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon for pretty much the same reason that I eat food. I love it! Just like I know that certain foods will be delicious and satisfying, I know that the principles of the gospel can bring joy and deeper understanding to my life. But it's not like I was born knowing these things. I didn't know that I would love chocote until I had tried it out. I have tried being a Mormon. I've read the Bible. I've read the Book of Mormon. I can tell you without hesitation that I know these things are true, because I've experienced the results of living by them. I know that Jesus Christ lives. He is the reason that I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the best I can to serve others and make other people happy, no matter where I am. But right now, as a missionary, the happiness of others is my full-time job! I've found so much joy from living the gospel of Jesus Christ that I want to do everything I can to share that joy with others.
