Hi I'm Kurtis

I work for the Department of Homeland Security. I love sand volleyball. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am seven feet tall, and love playing volleyball. I'm not very good at basketball but I can dunk! I enjoy trail running, and body surfing. In certain circles I'm known as "The Mayor of Wave-Town". I am currently studying accounting at a state university, and pursuing a career in federal law enforcement. I want to enforce the laws the make America the land of of opportunity. I've recently started lifting weights with my older brother, and have developed an interest in firearms. My biggest weakness... Mexican food.

Why I am a Mormon

Sometimes things happen in life that we don'e understand. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. He saves us from death, and redeems us from sin and sorrow. I know that we are compensated for any pain or suffering we experience in this life through Jesus Christ. He has the power to heal our relationships, and to perpetuate them beyond the grave.

How I live my faith

I play the organ for my congregation on Sunday's. I enjoy spending time with my family, and being a good brother to my siblings, and a good uncle to my nieces and nephews.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

I live in Arizona and love the beautiful desert landscape. Every time it rains the wilderness is completely transformed to a lush green oasis. I am reminded of my divine potential. Although at times I may not be where I want to be in my life, or where I had expected to be, I know that I am a child of God. As I have learned about Him, and my relationship to Him as His son, I am reassured by His loving presence in my life. When I spend time in nature, or drive in the countryside I feel His love for me in creating me such a beautiful home. Show more Show less
