Hi I'm Nikki

I'm a happily married stay-at-home mom of 6. When I'm not busy with that I run an in-home preschool, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was the fifth and youngest child born into a convert family. My parents joined the church when they had 3 small children. I grew up in the church and have been blessed knowing my whole life that I am a child of a Heavenly Father who loves me. In my younger, single years I enjoyed playing volleyball and music (piano and clarinet). I graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Elementary Music Education. When I'm not pregnant or nursing, I run an in-home preschool to help support my family while still being able to stay at home with them. If there's time after taking my kids to and from school and all their activities, helping with homework, doing housework, etc., I love to read! With such a big family, I spend a lot of time clipping coupons and looking for deals! I'm also the president of the primary in my ward, which is the children's organization from ages 18 months to 11 years old.

Why I am a Mormon

My wonderful parents were found by the missionaries and taught the gospel before I was born. We are the only members on both sides of the family. I was taught all my life that I was a child of God, and that He loved me. And because I was a child of God, I have a divine nature and heritage. Just knowing this has brought great comfort and peace throughout my life for I have a Father in Heaven who knows me individually and hears my prayers! I am so grateful to be a part of an eternal family that is not separated by death. How wonderful to have relationships on earth that will continue beyond the grave! My husband and children are my greatest blessings and I can't imagine life or eternity without them. How thankful I am to be able to be a mom! It is a great responsibility and I fall short every day. I know that because of my savior, Jesus Christ, I can be forgiven for all my sins and mistakes. I can feel clean, have peace, happiness, and joy in this life even though the world around me can sometimes feel like it is spinning out of control.

How I live my faith

My husband and I work together to raise our family. Not only do we serve our family, but we try hard to look for ways to give and help those around us. At church I am the president of the children's organization called the Primary. The children are full of life and are so pure and strong. I learn so much from their sweet examples. I am also a member of the women's organization called the Relief Society. I enjoy gathering with them are serving the sisters in our ward and other areas of the world. Whether it's making a meal for a new mom or someone who is ill, or working on a service project to help those who have been through a natural disaster, it is a great feeling to to be of service!
