Hi I'm Heath

I am from a small town. I have been a public-speaker for many different orginizations. AND! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

One of the things I really enjoy is to hang out with my family and friends in my little home-town. Don't let that fool you! I LOVE to meet new people and am oddly outgoing. It's FUN to be me! Another of the things I like is doing things outdoors. For example, I LOVE to ride horses! I Love to hunt and fish, I just LOOOVE to be outside! Another thing I really like is to exercise(work-out). The thing is, I decided to serve an LDS mission and we're not aloud to go to gyms. . . :( I'm currently serving a full-time mission in Seattle. The -GREAT- thing is, I get to help people! Therefore, I get my spiritual excercise!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the small town of Circleville, Utah where my family were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. That means, I grew up in a mormon environment learning about Jesus Christ. I went to Piute High School where I was a wrestler, catcher for the school's baseball-ball team, a part of the track team (800m), and my finest achievement was in theatrical productions and plays. ;) One of the hard things for me, is the fact I had to give up almost all of the things I enjoy. One of the things that I have to fall back on is God. I spent three months unconscious in a vegitative state. However, I always knew God would not abandon me. That belief pushed me forward into a full recovery. In my accident, I rolled my car several times and ended up 500 feet away from the road. I spent about three months in a coma after my parents miraculously found me. (God helped!) Haha! I couldn't eat anything because I couldn't even chew. I lost 60 of my 175 pounds because my body began to deteriorate due to lack of nurishment. My right eye-socket was completely crushed by objects flying around in the interior of the car. That is just okay. I found out that God cares about all of hs children. . . . . I just had to do it the hard way. ;)

How I live my faith

I am now, a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I try to let people know more about God and why they -NEED- to know he is there and watches out for each of his children. That's me!

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

What is faith?

In the Chrch of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints(mormon church) we believe that 'Faith' is a belief in things you cannot know for a surety. It is knowing something is real even though you can't see it. I'll, put it into a real-life analogy: We cannot see bacteria floating around in the air. This is true. We know this by scientific-technologyo Now, here's a religiuous expanation: We cannot see God or Jesus Christ yet we know they are there because of the testiumonies and promises from prophets who wrote those testimonies in books, The Book of Mormon and Bible.
