Hi I'm Devon

I'm Devon! I like to catch really big fish. And I'm a Mormon!

About Me

My name's Devon. Basically I like being in the outdoors. I like fishing, hunting, snowboarding, football, camping, and a lot of other stuff like that.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a Mormon ever since I was born. I've had family members who literally crossed the plains with the Mormon pioneers. So I have a family heritage in the church. However like everybody I had to recieve my own testimony of the church for myself. However, unlike some people who seem to have a really significant event or something that let's them know the church is true, I became converted overtime. I think it's all the little things that let me know the church is true. Like when I read The Book of Mormon, or when I help somebody , or go to church, or when I'm with my family. When I do all these things that are associated with the church I feel really good.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by living the teachings of the church. Sure sometimes some of the teachings may seem restrictive. But I promise I feel so good when I do. I also serve in my local ward. Before I moved away from my hometown to go to college, I I worked a lot with the scouts and youngmen. We did a lot of service projects. I'm pretty sure I've chopped enough fire wood for little old ladies to last them for 1000 years. I've also weed eated, raked leaves, painted benches, painted swings, helped millions of people move, cleaned up forest fires, and a lot more.
