Hi I'm Shaun

I'm a college student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town, in a family of 7. I love my family, and they mean the world to me. I played all sorts of sports in High School, ranging from cross country to football, but football was my favorite. Right now I'm taking a break from College as I pursue some other things, but plan to continue going to college as soon as I can. I love everything about music, and I'm planning to major in exercise science, and hopefully be a physicians assistant at some point in the future.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it is the only way I have been able to find peace and happiness through the atonement of Jesus Christ. I looked at my life one day and realized that I wasn't happy, but it seemed like the path back to happiness was so far, and would be hard a journey. It was only because of the comfort and help I had from my savior that helped me become who I am today. Its amazing to see the help that Christ has the power to help us all change, no matter where we are.

How I live my faith

I live my faith right now by helping others not of my faith understand more about the gospel and how it could help them. Mostly I live my faith by finding something every day that I can change to become more like the savior, whether big or small, and doing that thing. Its by enacting those changes that I can show people that the gospel really does have the power to change people's lives.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

It is only through the grace of God and Jesus Christ that we are able to return to our Heavenly Father. However, our actions show our faith in him, and still are important. Show more Show less
