Hi I'm Judith

I grew up all over, I'm blind and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was borne in Pennsylvania and lived there until I was 18 months old at which time my dad was called back to the service. I lived in the U.S., Canada, and Germany. I graduated high school in Colorado Springs and went to college at University of Northern Colorado in Greely. I lost my sight about 10 yrs after I graduated and went to the rehab center for the blind in Denver. I met Charles sometime later and we had a lovely and long courtship. We got married after Charles got cancer (I was too chicken before that). I like listening to books on tape, soft rock-n-roll music, hiking, watching old TV shows like Leave it to Beaver and the Waltons, chatting, eating and being with people.

Why I am a Mormon

Several reasons led up to me joining the church. I met people in the church. My brail teacher Eleta told me about the church, my sister Joyce met and married a man named John who was a member. He encouraged me to come to church. I started aattending at a student branch after I met Terry (he was a reader for me) and he showed me where the church was. The first day I attended I arranged to have the missionary discussions, this was in the spring. In the fall I was baptized having come to believe what was taught. I knew that after I had this belief I shouldnt drag my feet to long.

How I live my faith

Im a supervisor over the women who go on visits to other sisters.
