Hi I'm Natalie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Natalie, and I am a freshman in college with a major in engineering. I love music, and have participated in both choir and orchestra at my high school. I also absolutely love photography, and have a goal to someday learn how to do traditional manual photography. I also love horseback riding, and although I haven't had too much time to devote to it, I take lessons when I get the chance. I love watching good movies, and then later quoting them with my friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church, and raised on the gospel teachings. I chose to be baptized into membership when I was eight, and I have chosen to continue as a member in this church because I know that it is the true church. We are all encouraged to read the Book of Mormon and pray to ask if it's true. Well, I did that, and at first I didn't get an actual answer. In fact, I had to wait for quite a while. But then my family went on a trip to the Eastern states to visit some of the early church history sites. I was reading my scriptures for the day, in Alma, and as I read the 6th and 7th verses in chapter 37, I got the strongest feeling that it was true. I just knew that the Book of Mormon was true, and so though I had to wait, I did get my answer, and it was yes.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving at the music director (chorister) in the women's organization of my ward. I choose the hymns that we sing and lead the women as we sing them. I just got assigned my partner to go visit some of the sisters and teach them monthly. I try to read the scriptures every day, and I do my best to live what I believe.
