Hi I'm James C. Moulton

I grow up and was raised in Lakewood. I served an amazing two year mission in Pocatello Idaho. I go college and I'm L.D.S.

About Me

I'm an aspiring artist. I love to draw people and animals. I also like photography and I am starting to really like metal smithing. I love to read and enjoy great fictions. I'm currently enjoying life as a college student and love the class room atmosphere. I hope to be an art teacher some day.

Why I am a Mormon

Through simple but profound events in my life I know that God has directed me to join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and to learn of his son, Jesus Christ. When I read the scriptures they always teach me what I need to work on or how to solve problems I am facing. When I pray with my heart to God, I can feel him listening. When I serve my friends and family in the Church I feel stregthened and feel myself become a better person. My experiences continue and my life is blessed the longer and more faithful I am at following the teachings of the church and serving in it. I will be faithful to the promises I've made, because I know it is the way to happiness in this life and the life to come.

How I live my faith

The Church has given my amazing oppertunities that have helped me in both personal and professional ways. I have been blessed to know how to give an organized speech at the age of six. I have been given the oppertunity to teach in classes about both gospel princibles and the scriptures to other church members my age. I served a mission and learned how to stand for what I believed in and become the friend I would want to be with others. All these events and others have played a huge role in facing challenges that come up in my life, but also make these challenges exciting.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

James C. Moulton
As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ I try to follow his example and help any person in need. I'm not perfect at it but some of the happiest times in my life have been helping with other organization that had nothing to do with Mormons. One of the best experiences I've had was helping families build there own house and seeing the joy in their children as they moved into their new house. When the Savior told us the story of the Good Samaritain he gave us a lesson that we are all neighbors and should love each other. Show more Show less

To what do you attribute the growth of the Church?

James C. Moulton
I believe the reason the church has and will continue to grow is because it teaches correct principles that help its members govern their lives in happiness. It also continues to grow because the church provides for us a friendly atmosphere to learn the gospel of Jesus Christ around each other. All members are encouraged to learn and given opportunities to serve in assignments. Having a place to worship at and the opportunity to serve with my friends and learn from them as well has blessed my life, and the lives of my friends. Show more Show less
