Hi I'm Bryan

I am a missionary in the Canada Montreal Mission, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love any sport with a ball involved (soccer is my favorite). I also love skiing, camping, hiking, boating... pretty much anything active, I'm game! I also enjoy playing board games and watching movies with family and friends. I enjoy school and learning; I will be attending BYU in the fall of 2017, after I return from serving an honorable full-time mission. I hope to become a pediatric subspecialist, possibly in oncology.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family who are active in the church. Ever since I was little I always loved the stories from the Book of Mormon (especially the story of the Army of Helaman; look it up! Alma 56; it's AMAZING!). As I grew up, especially as I got further into high school and needed to make the decision of whether or not I should serve a mission, I started to seriously inquire into and study the gospel of Jesus Christ, utilizing both the Bible and The Book of Mormon to study Him and His ministry and teachings to each of us. I am a Mormon because, through my own personal study, and through many, many prayers to my Heavenly Father for answers to the questions I have, I believe with all of my heart that we have a Father in Heaven who lives, and who loves me and all of us. I do not have a perfect knowledge of everything in this gospel; that would defeat the purpose of faith. What I DO have is a desire to continue learning of Him, and to believe His teachings (in the Bible, The Book of Mormon, and in the teachings of latter-day prophets on the Earth today) regardless of the things I may not understand or know for sure. I love my Savior and my Heavenly Father, and it is because of them that I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try hard to read from the scriptures each night, and to pray to the Lord each morning and night. I put a lot of effort into keeping my thoughts, words and actions as clean and pure as the Savior's example. I am not perfect, but that provides another way for me to live my faith: I strive to repent of my mistakes and to obtain forgiveness from my Heavenly Father through the Atonement of His son, Jesus Christ. Perhaps the most obvious way that I live my faith is what I do 24/7 until July 2017. I am currently serving a 2-year mission in the Canada Montreal Mission in the province of Quebec, speaking French. For my entire life, I have looked forward to this opportunity to show my Heavenly Father how much He means to me by teaching His children of His gospel. I love Him, and I know He loves all of us; so I work hard each day to share that by how I live.
