Hi I'm Amric Zane Sobczak

My name is Amric Zane Sobczak, I love rugby, being outside, & being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

About Me

I am a 21 year old returned missionary. I served in the California Carlsbad mission for six months, and then I finished the remaining eighteen months in the California Irvine mission. I loved my mission so much and it truly helped me learn how to work hard, overcome trials, and see the positive side of all things in life. I love helping out and serving people and getting to know others. In High school I loved doing theater specifically light and set design for plays. I love being able to see something go from paper to actually being built, the changes, and improvements that are made. I know nothing can be perfect but we can always look for ways to do our best with what we have been given. I love my family and all they do for me. They truly are a gift from our Heavenly Father. I also love playing Rugby. I have been playing since I was 14 years old and have learned so much from that on how to work with others and rely on others to achieve an amazing goal. I am an easy going guy who just wants to do all he can to help people come to the joy and happiness I have found by being a member of the Latter-day Saint Church. Wherever you may be, know that God loves you and knows you on a personal level.

Why I am a Mormon

At first for me it was simple, I was a member of this church simply because I was born into it and went with the family. Through growing up and experiencing all of the ups and downs life had to offer I had to choose, remain in an unknowing condition or find out for myself if this was true and could really help me in my life. It was at this point, this realization that I came to know why I am here, why I am who I am. For me the reasoning behind being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is simple, without it I would not be where I am today. I would not be as happy, comforted, or confident if I did not have the knowledge that this church has given me; the knowledge that I am a Son of God. Knowing that keeps me going, that no matter what, there is always somebody watching out for me and caring for me whenever times are tough. In happy times he rejoices, in sad times he carries me through. That is why I am a Mormon, because it has been the place where I have felt the most love and peace in my life. No matter what, you are never alone, you are always watched over and cared for.

How I live my faith

I do all I can to share something spiritual daily on social media. Whether it is a short video, a picture, or just an uplifting thought I strive to get my voice out there in the world to help others find direction. I serve wherever I find opportunity and look for ways to bring others closer to Christ. I want those around to see the love Christ has for them so that is what I do every day, help spread the love and light of Christ to those I talk to and live around every day.
