Hi I'm John

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

As a a husband and father of three, I live for my family and try to spend as much time as possible with them. I am a Dentist and run my own business. I decided early in my life to find an occupation that allowed me the freedom and flexibility to be with my family as much as possible and I'm blessed to have found that. I loved playing and coaching football in the past and now enjoy watching the game.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and feel very blessed to have amazing parents and grandparents who taught me to follow Jesus Christ through how they lived their lives. In my teenage years I had significant spiritual experiences that ignited the fire of faith in my heart that has continued to grow throughout my life. As I served my church mission in Chile I saw how the gospel changes and blesses the lives of those who make covenants with God and follow Christ. This strengthened my faith. Now, as a husband and father, I see great blessings from belonging to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for to my marriage and for my children. As our family has experienced the deaths of family members great comfort and peace has come to our children that would not if we did not have hope in Christ and a knowledge of the eternal nature of families.

How I live my faith

I have been involved in many areas of service through church including a decade in Boy Scouts. I enjoy serving with the youth in our church and have learned much from serving them. It gives me great satisfaction to play a part in the spiritual and social development of young boys and girls as they go through the teenage years. Seeing them become fine men and women in the world gives me such hope in the future. I had many great mentors in my life and am honored to have the chance to hopefully do the same for today's young people. I also have the opportunity to work intimately with the poor, needy, and those struggling with addictions of various kinds. There is much suffering in the world and if I can provide even a small amount of relief, strength, and kindness I feel closer to Jesus Christ as I follow his example in reaching out to those in need.
