Hi I'm Terrance James Wood

Witness and servant of Jesus Christ, Son of God, our Savior. From the day of my birth, to the day of His return; I'll praise Him.

About Me

I am a husband and father of five children. First, my eldest daughter, by law, a born leader, with a heart of gold. Second, my first son, by law, a born warrior, with the courage of a thousand soldiers. Third, my first son, by blood, an old soul, close to the Father, to be, rather than to seem to be. Fourth, my daughter, by blood, a born peace keeper, of an uplifted spirit. Fifth, my daughter, by blood, a born comforter. My wife and our family are committed to His Word, in the Latter Days.

Why I am a Mormon

My Father, who sent me, interceded in my life. He whispered, and I was ignorant. He spoke, and I ran. He waited, and I called. When He answered, He told me that I was on the wrong path. He said to read the scriptures, and go to Church. He shewed me how the world will be hostile, towards the Word that proceeds from Him, in latter days. Nonetheless, I accept whatever plan He has. I accept His Son, as my Savior, and my brother--He lives. I know, through His revelation, He has set apart the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, as His chosen sanctum, on Earth. I accept the Holy Spirit, and have received it's many blessings. As a man's heart fails him for fear, so will their minds fail them for lies, and their souls fail them for hate. He sent His Son, to complete all righteousness. For when it is fulfilled, an unbroken chain, passed down from Adam, given by God--will overcome all our failures, by the merits of Hope, Faith, and Love, absolutely conjunct.

How I live my faith

I am encouraged, in my faith, by the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Having seen long suffering, by His children--I struggle to accept what this world has become. Knowing my Father, who loves all His children, desires my utmost; I am determined to overcome seemingly insurmountable odds. Having sabotaged my own life many-fold over, it is through Him that I find strength to correct course. Even as I write this, I struggle with my weaknesses, and have only found strength, through my faith and knowledge of Him. Having a nicotine and caffeine addiction; I confess my personal struggle to overcome the obstacles of my choices. Aside from the pleas of His prophets, He has personally shewn me the importance of accepting and living the Word of Wisdom, admitting my faults, and accepting personal responsibility. I know that He accepts all of us, on His own, before any choices we make. He has made it quite clear: we can be free, having everlasting joy in life, through Him, accepting His Son. Through Him, we are more than our many mistakes. I live my life, trying to walk in the footsteps of Christ, to try to be more like Him, and to return to the Kingdom of Heaven.

Who are the Mormons?

Terrance James Wood
The moniker 'Mormon', it is a misnomer. As directed by the Father, we are 'The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints'. Our Father despises idolatry, and so we must be diligent against confusing our fellowship. The Book of Mormon is another true testament of God's Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior. Show more Show less

How do I become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church)?

Terrance James Wood
Joining His Church is an extraordinary undertaking. You must accept the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is through Him alone, that we are of any fellowship, under God. Baptism by immersion, for the remission of sins, is a sacred covenant. This covenant, between ourselves, and our Creator--must be held in the highest reverence. Show more Show less

What is faith?

Terrance James Wood
I liken faith to a muscle, as your Spirit atrophies, when it is neglected. It is as the mustard seed, the smallest in Galilee. When it came to fruition, it was a tree of a magnificent stature. Faith in the Father was never meant to be easy. He asks us to take a leap of faith, for His Plan. Show more Show less

What blessings can we receive through the gift of the Holy Ghost?

Terrance James Wood
All of the matter in this universe, it would not compare to the gifts proceeding from the Holy Ghost, which always proceed from our Father. Show more Show less
