Hi I'm Rick

I have a great family. I enjoy living in Colorado. I'm a Mormon - a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

About Me

I am happily married, we have five children. I am a sports fanatic - go Utes! I love the outdoors - especially anywhere in southern Utah.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in Utah and always assumed the LDS Church was true. I converted to the gospel in my early 20's and have never looked back. I know by the power of the Holy Ghost that Jesus Christ is my Savior and my Redeemer. His Atoning sacrifice is real, never ending, and yet very personal for me. I have read the Book of Mormon many times. I know that it is the word of God, another testament of Jesus Christ. Joseph Smith is an astonishing man, a prophet of the Lord. He saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ - his testimony and experience are sacred to me. He restored the full gospel of Jesus Christ with all of its doctrines, covenants, priesthood authority, and promises to us. Promises of great blessings in this life, and salvation in the life to come - if we are valiant followers of the Savior.

How I live my faith

It has been my great privilege to counsel, teach, and work with the teenage youth of our church in various roles for twenty-something years. Most importantly, I I do my best to live righteously for my family. So that we can live together forever through the covenants we have made. If we stay true and faithful to the Savior, and to each other.
