Hi I'm Margaret

I'm an ICU nurse. I have MS. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been working as a nurse in the Neuro ICU for over 4 years now. About 2 years ago I was diagnosis with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), it was life changing and scary but found comfort and peace with it now. I enjoy hiking and being outdoors. I love the sunsets in Arizona... Every night it beautiful. I enjoy ceramics.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, and yes, at first I just went because it was what my parents made me do. As I have gotten older I couldn't be more grateful for their consistancy and example they showed me growing up. The gospel is simple, it is kind, it shows charity, its forgiving, its demanding and its true happiness. As a human I am not perfect, I make mistakes. I get angry, I can be selfish but when I'm following the church those negative behaviors and thoughts diminish and are replaced with love, caring and respect for others.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by example. Trying to be like Christ; having the pure love of Christ, charity. As a nurse I have the opportunity to be with people during what is likely one of the most life-changing experiences of their lives. My hope is that I am able to be a source of comfort and a light happiness in their times of grief. Also in church I have the opportunity to increase the unity for the women by planning activities that we can do to get to know one another better. No one should feel alone or that there is no where to turn.
