Hi I'm Brent

I grew up in Southeast Idaho. I am a father and a husband. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father and husband working to make ends meet. I work two jobs so that our kids can have their mom at home. My greatest joy everyday is being able to come home and play with my kids and help my wife. I enjoy soccer, volleyball, and racquetball. I also love a good book or movie. Family to me is everything.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have a testimony of the prophet Savior Jesus Christ and the Prophet Joseph Smith. I know that I have received blessings from God when I have been obedient to his commandments. I am a Mormon because I know that families can be together forever. This knowledge is a gift that He has given to all of us. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God as well as the Bible. I know that all men can know if it is true, if they will read and ponder the words of these books and pray to God with true desire to know if they are true. I know this is His Church. I know that we have prophets today that receive His word for us today. I know that God speaks to us individually and loves us more than we can comprehend. I love Him and want to be like Him. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am a home teacher. I visit families in our congregation each month to share a message with them and to help them in any way that I can. I am a clerk in our congregation, which means that I am responsible to keep accurate records of the responsibilities and needs of the members here. I try to be honest and just in my dealings with anyone that I come in contact with, both at work and at church. I laugh and sing and try my best to help those that I come in contact with.
