Hi I'm Scott

I live in Arizona. I love to play sports and spend time with my 3 boys. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father to 3 boys. I love many sports including golf and soccer. I own an independent insurance agency and really enjoy my work. Something fun we love to do as a family is ride quads and RZR's at the sand dunes. Very fun!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I believe in the teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have also seen what the gospel has done for my life. I am a better husband, father, neighbor, employer because of the values and teachings of the church. Through my own life experiences as well as seeing others I know that the church is true and that by following the Saviours example all of us can find happiness no matter what our circumstances are.

How I live my faith

I currently volunteer (serve) with the men's organization in our ward. We look for ways to help in many different ways. Sometimes it is helping people that have moved or are moving load and unload moving trucks. Other times we visit with those that are struggling with employment or just need someone to talk to. All of the service we hope will strengthening others belief in Jesus Christ. Our love for each other as well as those we serve grows as we forget about our selves and think of others needs.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

I can see how many would think that we as Mormons only help other Mormons. Because of the way our faith is such a part of our every day life and not just a "Sunday" religion we end up spending a great deal of time with other members of our faith. We have activities all throughout the week for our youth and adults whether it be serving or doing other activities. For example, to keep in shape I play basketball every week at our church building and most of the guys I play with are mormons. Even though some of the guys that come are not mormons I need to do better at inviting all my neighbors to participate. As Mormons we definitely try to help all people just a Christ would. Is it not our intention to exclude anyone and hopefully we can do even better in the future of making everyone know we love and care for them. Show more Show less
