Hi I'm Cyndy

I'm a wife & mother of 3 adults and 5 grandkids. I make cupcakes for a living and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

After 20 years of working in the corporate world I now own my own business with my husband. I spend my limited free time practicing with a rock n’ roll cover band and loving and playing with my beautiful grandchildren. My husband and I love to take day-trips to enjoy the beauty of our surroundings and to find inexpensive but good restaurants for a meal. We now live with my mom and are grateful to be able to help her at this time in her life.

Why I am a Mormon

When I first heard about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I knew immediately that what I was being taught was the truth. I knew my Savior personally but I also knew that I had not yet found his teachings and I yearned to find them. Now, as I reflect on my many years as a member of the church, I realize that I have grown in so many ways and have been given the great privilege of receiving a confirmation repeatedly that what I have learned is the truth. I am a daughter of God. I know that He lives and that He loves me.

How I live my faith

As the Director of Public Affairs for our area, I have the opportunity to work in the community where I live. I meet with leaders in the community and get to know them and seek opportunites for us to work together solving the issues of the needs of the people who live in our community. I work with the leaders of the church in building relationships with our community leaders with the goal of keeping communication open so that in the event of a community need, our church and our people will be able to help.
