Hi I'm Scott

I grew up in California. I'm a missionary in Alaska, and I'm Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Alaska, I used to work at In-N-Out back in California and absolutely loved it! I enjoy doing missionary work, and spreading the gospel, but I was a bit nervous with that sort of thing before my mission. I enjoy Hiking, camping, snowboarding, and pretty much anything that sounds fun at the time.

Why I am a Mormon

Well, to say the least, I'm Mormon, because that's what I started as, but for a while, I just went through the motions like I'm sure a lot of the youth do. It wasn't until I had some certain events happen in my life that made me really start to think about who I am, and where I fit in to the picture. I then started reading from the Book of Mormon for the first time on my own, not having someone call on me but, me just pulling it out to see what it says. I started praying each and everynight, and now I can't even go to bed with out saying a prayer. The Book of Mormon, has been a wonderful blessing to me, and my life. It's brought me strength, peace, and most importantly happiness, helped me see the world in a new light. That's why I'm mormon, and that's why I'm a missionary, because I know how much that book has helped me, and I know how much the lives of others can benifit from it as well.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to always be there for those in need. Like if I see someone that needs help, and if I'm able to I try to help them. I do my best to try and follow the counsel of the spirit in helping people, sometimes I mess up, but that's why the atonment is there. I always try to be a good friend to everyone, and try to listen to their problems and try to help them through their trials. I also try to bring happiness and joy where ever I go with a smile, I know that's not the biggest thing, but sometimes a friendly smile is all it takes.
