Hi I'm Will

I was born in England, grew up in South Africa, and now I'm a Texan, happily married to my beautiful bride, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been happily married for sixteen years now to my beautiful bride. We have four wonderful children that we cherish and who keep us on our toes. I'm a Principal of an investment management firm and serve as the Chief Executive Officer. I was born in England and grew up in South Africa. I love all sports particularly rugby, cricket, tennis, basketball, and golf. I love spending time with my family and enjoy going on bike rides, watching movies as a family, swimming, and working in the yard. I love to travel and have been blessed to see so many parts of the world. I love meeting new people and finding out what their story is...everyone has a story to tell about themselves.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It's a church where we strive to follow the gospel of Jesus Christ and to serve one another. I know we are all children of Heavenly Father and that he loves and knows each of us perfectly! In the church we believe that families can be together forever, not just "till death do us part." Family relationships are eternal, which gives us a unique perspective to always work and develop our family relationships. I am always inspired and taught at church to become a better father and husband. The opportunities to help and serve each other in the church are endless and give me a chance to help others in need rather think about my needs and what I want. As I mentioned earlier, I served a two year mission in England. It was during this time that I truly learned to serve and gained my testimony that Christ lives and loves each of us. I also love reading the scriptures and gained a testimony that the Bible and the Book of Mormon are the words of true prophets of the Lord. I invite you to read the Book of Mormon and come to know for yourself, as I did, that the book is true by praying and asking God if it is. It will change your life as it did mine.

How I live my faith

Being a Mormon isn't something you only do on Sundays. I try to live my faith evey day! What does that mean? It means trying to follow the example of the Savior and help those in need and also teaching the Gospel. Every member of the church has the opportunity to visit and teach a few families within the ward (your local church congregation) every month. We take care of our own and also look for ways to help those who are not members of our church too. One of the most rewarding experiences for me was when hundreds of members of our church drove to Galveston, Texas and helped as many families as possible in cleaning up debris, fallen trees etc. I felt so good after spending the whole day working and helping those who had been affected by this disastrous hurricane.
