Hi I'm Aubree

I'm a 22 year old Californian, and I love God. He answers prayers. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm 22 years old. I grew up in sunny, southern California and I have 3 siblings. I graduated high school in CA, and from there attended college in Idaho, where I studied theatre education. I love my family and friends, acting, theatrical sound production, books about psychology, playing with kids and running. I served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Atlanta Georgia. I'll be graduating college and marrying my sweetheart in 2015.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family belonging to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My family has been members for generations. I was lucky to be brought into the world under such circumstances. I made the decision to join the church when I was 8 years old. As I have grown up, my understanding of the Church and its teachings have grown and expanded. Why am I Mormon? I am a Mormon because I want to be happy. By living my life according to the teachings of Jesus Christ, as understood by our Church I know that I can be truly happy, not just for a while, but for eternity. Through the teachings of Christ and this Church, I can be with my family for eternity. When I get married it will not be "till death do us part." It will extend past the grave into eternity as well. I know that the blessings I have seen in my life are directly linked to my obedience to the gospel of Christ. I know that through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints I have the fullness of the gospel at my disposal. I know that the Book of Mormon is a true record and that it testifies and teaches of Jesus Christ. I know He is God's son. I know that He suffered and died for my sins. I love Him. I know that revelation continues on the Earth today. I know that God still speaks to His children and He does so through His prophets. The prophet on the Earth today is Thomas S. Monson. I am so grateful to be Mormon. It has made me all that I am.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by living by the standards that God has set for us. I volunteer to help as often as I can in any capacity that may be asked of me. All the work done in our church is volunteer work. No one gets paid for their contributions. I served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Atlanta Georgia area, and now teach future missionaries at my local church building.
