Hi I'm Dan

I was raised in Colorado, I am an EMT Im in love with a wonderful lady and studying to be an Emergency Room Dr. and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of four kids and I am getting started with my life and I am thankful to say that everything is moving right along. I served a full time mission in Guatemala Quetzaltenango, I am attending the University working on all of my pre-requisites for medical school with a degree in Psychology. I want to be an ER Doc and currently work as an EMT, I love my job! I am a black belt in Taekwondo and love all forms of martial arts, I love to hike and pretty much anything to do with the mountains and the water. I love all animals and have always had pets. My career will take me to the Army where I will serve in the Medical Corps as an Emergency Medical Physician. The best part of this whole thing is that I have found a wonderful woman who has agreed to be my wife and we will be sealed for time and all eternity in the Denver Temple on October 22nd. I love serving others and have devoted my life to that cause, I come from an entire family of public servants in law enforcement, medicine and military service.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church but struggled to fully live it's teachings in my teenage years, this gave me a more complete understanding of exactly why I love this church so much. I served an honorable mission and learned and changed so much and I am so thankful for that experience. I want others to feel the joy that I feel that comes from a more complete understanding of the truth. Like I said before I love to work and to serve, if there is one thing I learned well from my parents it is how to work hard. This church provides ample oppurtunities to serve others. It also teaches the full doctrine of who we all are, why we are here and what happens when we die. Of all the teachings of the church, it is the Plan of Salvation that I treasure most dear. In my line of work I deal with a lot of death, I also deal with some very sick and injured people, the knowlege of the Great Plan given to us by our Loving Heavenly Father, eases the pain of seeing this on a daily basis. It also helps me comfort those who are left behind after a tradgedy. I know that this church is true, I love it very much and hope to do some good with it in this world.

How I live my faith

I may not be able to do much but I can make some kind of difference in someone's life everyday. I have said it before that I know how to work and I believe that service is the best way I know to show people that I love and live my faith.
