Hi I'm Kristi

I'm a single mother, photographer, singer and friend. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a single mother, blessed with two of the most wonderful kids in the world (and yes I am biased) I work in self-employment as a photographer and chocolatier. I love music and can be found rocking out and singing in my car. I love spending time with family and friends. And take any chance I can to get behind my camera.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and grew up with the knowledge that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live and love each of us individually. I lost my way for about 10 years, and when I was 24, Heavenly Father made it very clear to me that He wanted me back. I chose to come back to His church because I know the only time I've truly been happy in my life is when I'm striving to live His commandments. I have several challenges in my life, and don't know how I would handle them without the love and support of Heavenly Father and my Savior. I feel the spirit so strongly when I attend my church meetings, serve others, read the Book Of Mormon and go to the temple. I'm thankful for His plan of happiness and that the family relationships continue after this life into the eternities. I know that my Savior lives. I know that He atoned for all of my sings. I know that by relying on the Lord, I am given strength to handle and face anything that comes my way.

How I live my faith

I have served within the church in many capacities. I have been a chorister where I select the hymns and lead the music for sacrament meetings. I have taught Sunday school class for girls ages 9-11. I have participated in community service projects, including food drives and providing meals for families staying in the Ronald McDonald house.

Are Mormons Christians?

When I meet new people, I'm often asked if the "Mormon" church is a Christian church. I say, most definitely, and in fact His name is within the name of the church. Jesus Christ and His teachings are central to my belief in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I believe in Christ, and in His infinite atonement for my (and all of our) sins. I know that the Savior lives and loves each and every one of us. He knows us by name. He wants to free us from any worldly traps that can ensnare us. He wants us to reach to Him so He can help us return to our Father in heaven. Show more Show less
