Hi I'm Michele

I'm a mom to 6 great children, and grandmother to 2 adorable grand babies. I grew up in Wyo, Neb and Tex. I now live in Idaho.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom. I am a college graduate but really only ever wanted to be a mom. My passions are my family, reading, quilting and any movie from the genre of Early English authors (Pride and Prejudice anyone?). I love to spend time with friends. I have been known to ride my bike, and I find a nice walk is just the ticket to a good day. Good food is always a welcome thing in my life, either made by me or someone else.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always known the Church is true. I feel this knowledge it is a gift from Heavenly Father. I know I am a daughter of God, that he knows me and loves me. Having the Gospel in my life has given me strength in tough times. The deepest desire of my heart is to have my family with me for eternity.

How I live my faith

I volunteer at my children's school when I can. I love to help with the local county fair in the quilt department. I work in the women's organization of our Church. I find great joy working with the women. Service is a huge part of that, and I'm always glad for an opportunity to take a meal to someone who needs one.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Michele
I find evidence of God as I walk through my neighborhood and see beautiful trees, flowers or the sheep up the street. It is in the magnificence of waves crashing on shore or a small stream in the mountains. When I gaze at the stars, or think about the structure of the solar system and how the earth is the perfect distance from the sun to sustain life I can only attribute it to God's handiwork, not some random thing that happened of which the result was the earth. I see the miracle of the human body it as I use my own body to walk, ride my bike or watch my children play soccer. I marvel at the amazing ability I've had to bear children and am in awe as I witness the body healing itself. Even in the processes of our bodies to live day to day, I know that our bodies are gifts from God and that we are created in His image. Everything works in such a way that it could only be by a Heavenly Father who knew what we would need to live on this earth. Show more Show less
