Hi I'm Ryan

" I was born and raised in Arizona. I work in construction. I'm a Mormon."

About Me

My life can be described by three major events. These three major events consist of mission, education, and marriage. Experiencing these events has shaped who I am and who I will become. During my mission I experienced a series of long lasting faith builders that have been the building blocks of my decisions. Thinking at the time I was experiencing a hardship which made me rely on the lord and have faith. I had to learn that I cannot control everything and I needed to give it to the lord. I was able to get over myself and let the lords spirit guide me. This lesson of reliance on the lord has guided me many times through out my life. Education was a must in my house. I did get a degree in business but I feel like life itself has been my greatest teacher. Living life's challenges has educated me for the better. One of my biggest challenges yet was getting divorced. When i as going through my divorce I felt like my heart was being torn out of my chest. For the first couple months I wanted to hide in the closet or stick my head in the sand and hide. This lesson of faith and strength in the lord was the hardest test I have ever taken. I know I would not have made it through my divorce without the strength of the Lord to lift me. Being single was hard after divorce but I was able to get through it. Finding my soul mate and becoming a father has been the most joyful experience of my life. I love my family and my wife.

Why I am a Mormon

I know without a shadow of a doubt that Jesus is the Christ and He has suffered the pain and sorrow of the world. Even though he gives us struggles Christ had felt them and paid for them. He can take my pain and lift me up out of the depths sorrow and make life beautiful again. I know that we have a living prophets here on the earth today. I know that the Church is true and Joseph Smith is a prophet that established the church again on Gods earth. I am a Mormon because God told me that this is His true church. God has testified to me by the Spirit and through faith that his work is important and this is His true church. God has given me my family and my life. I know that true happiness is through His church and plan.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through obedience to his commandments. I dedicate time to the scouting program. I love those boys and love teaching them values that will stick with them for the rest of their lives. I go to church every Sunday to show that I love God. I pray with my family to show them that I love God and dedicate private thoughts to the things of the Lord to keep my self clean.
