Hi I'm Ralph

I am a husband, father, grandfather, business owner and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of five. Three boys and two girls. I have 7 grandchildren so far and look forward to future additions. I enjoy sports of all types but in particular basketball is my game. I try my best to work out every day and enjoy traveling with my wife, who by the way was my high school sweetheart, to all sorts of world wide destinations. I am partial to Hawaii and the Caribbean. We also love to take cruise ships to exotic destinations. I always seem to find time for a good fantasy or action movie. I also enjoy mentoring and working with youth. I am owner of a fresh cut Christmas tree company where we ship to many locations through out the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I am all about family. I feel the family unit will carry on not only in this life but the next. I was very fortunate growing up in a very loving family who spent many Sundays at a Methodist church. The people that attended the church were all great individuals. I learned at an early age that a church is a good place to find people with similar values and goals. I was introduced to the LDS church when I was a senior in High School and quickly felt the teachings of the church, especially in the realm of family was right where I wanted to be. I also realized there were questions I still had about the gospel of Jesus Christ that were now being answered. One of those questions was feeling like we had a life after death but no one could tell me what that would be like. I am a very logical thinker so having answers to my questions no matter what I ask is important. I am grateful to have the gospel of Christ in my life.

How I live my faith

I try each day of my life to follow the example that Christ set for us. This means I treat everyone with kindness at home or at work. I have spent many years serving at church in positions that help administer and also minister to the members. Over the years I have particulary enjoyed working with the youth groups ages 12 and up. I have coached the boys basketball team at church and thouroughly loved that. Each day of life brings an opportunity to serve someone else or to brighten someones day. I love bringing a smile to someone who is down.
