Hi I'm Amanda

I have a husband, 4 kids, an imagination, an eye for color, a garden, a Mac, & an extensive children's library. ;) I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I value my husband, 3 little girls and son. My favorite things are going to the lake with my family, riding bikes, and creating art with a camera, the sun and adobe products. I'm a horrible speller, the best at coloring contests, and love to play with my kids. Sometimes I wish we lived on the Canary Islands in Spain and I am a HUGE believer in setting goals. I never get enough sleep, I love waffles and I am completely happy with where I am in life.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe everyone has to take time in their life to decide to be a follower of Christ. Although I was raised a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I gained a testimony of my own in my teenage years. I currently am working to improve the talents and gifts I was blessed with to be an asset to my Father in Heaven and the work he has for us to do on Earth. I believe in constantly sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with other because it bring peace and happiness. I know Jesus Christ lives and I want to be my best so I can be an example to others of Him.

How I live my faith

I am an active member of my community. I am a mother who wants children throughout my neighborhood to know their neighbors and feel safe. I am the president of our Home Owners Association, because I enjoy providing activities for families in my area to come to and meet their neighbors. I strongly believe there is value in a close relationship with your family. and neighbors. I currently work within my ward with the Primary children and LOVED serving the young women of my area for 4 years also. My favorite activities with the YW included spending time together going camping in the summer and teaching those young girls to have confidence and self respect. I believe teaching children about what they can become after this life helps them to live a higher standard in their personal lives.
