Hi I'm Jubilyn Lyver

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife, a mother, a teacher at church, a daughter, a sister, an auntie... I wear many hats! Sometimes I feel that the things I'm doing are very unexciting, but I know the service I give to others is important.

Why I am a Mormon

I continue to follow the gospel of Jesus Christ because of the peace it brings me. Of course I've had trials and challenges throughout my life, but nothing that seemed too difficult to overcome. In the last six years, however, I've had some trials that brought me to the brink. It was only through my faith that I was able to make it through those challenges. I shudder to think where I would be without the faith I've developed as a member of this church.

How I live my faith

Currently, I teach a Sunday class to the young women--ages 16 and 17. They are so full of life! They crack me up half the time. I don't envy the challenges they face as they encounter peer pressure and temptations at school. However--I am so impressed with their strength. I think they teach me more than I teach them!

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Jubilyn Lyver
We are ALL brothers and sisters with the same father and brother (God the Father and Jesus Christ). No matter if you live in the United States, Pakistan or New Zealand; whether you've ever heard of the Mormons or not...we are all mankind. Mormons want to help whenever and wherever they can. Some of my most favorite activities and memories are of doing service in the community. Show more Show less
