Hi I'm Angela

My "passion" is my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

We periodically take the occasion in life to weigh those things that have the most interest and worth to us - those things that we look forward to, that we try to make time for. For me that is my family. My good husband and I have enjoyed some wonderful opportunities to travel (we love to see ruins and places that teach us of other people and times) but if given a choice I would travel to be with my 6 children and 17 grandchildren. I want to be part of their lives - to be another set of loving, accepting arms, to help support them and be another voice of testimony of Jesus Christ. I love walking, hiking, playing the piano and singing - all of these most especially with family. I also love teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. From my upbringing in a small Idaho farming community I learned the value of work and music played a big part of all we loved. It provided family unity and a desire to foster music in my own family

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes life happier. It provides direction and a clear path in a challenging, often darkened world - the path that I can help point beloved family members to for safety and peace. I see it settle their hearts as they recognize that they are truly children of God and that the commandments do, in reality, bring a life of freedom and joy. The doctrines of the gospel and the mission of Jesus Christ provide a clear beacon of truth and stability. I can never deny the blessings and miracles that have come to our family through the covenants we have made and endeavor to keep. The church organization provides wonderful opportunities for growth and service.

How I live my faith

The gospel is my life - it directs the way I interact with family, friends and strangers. It helps me direct my thoughts and actions to, hopefully, reflect the teachings of the Savior. I have taught the gospel for many years to youth and adults and love what studying the scriptures does for me personally. I've had lovely opportunities to share my gifts in music and leadership over many years in the church and community. My husband and I have grown closer as we have served together teaching and leading youth and adults. We have been challenged and strengthened. We try to provide service to the church and community on a regular basis.
