Hi I'm Cliff

Moved to Washington 30 years ago. Parent of 4 married children and 'grandpa' to 10 grandchildren. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of four married children and 'grandpa' to ten grandchildren. We all enjoy being together and our religious views bind us together in a very special way. My lifetime carrier has been commerical real estate with a national focus on net leased property. My hobby is big game hunting thoughout North America.

Why I am a Mormon

I need to have all of my questions answered and the answers must be logical. A friend recently stated, "I just don't see why Jesus Christ is so important." No matter how good life can be, it has absolutely no meaning without Christ's atonement. His suffering in Gethsemane and resurrection from the tomb are central to our very existance. "Adam fell that men might be, and men are that they might have joy." We are all participants in life and it is "for real". Meaning our eternal destiny depends on how well we keep God's commandments and the Grace of Jesus Christ. The teachings of the Church provide the best roadmap I've ever seen to find real joy in this life.

How I live my faith

Currently, my wife and I are serving in a Youg Single Adult congregation. There are only four 'senior' couples in our congregation, the rest of the members range in age from 18 to 31. I am not at all concerned about the future leadership of the Church, because the rising generation is strong in testimony, conviction, work ethic, and spirituality. I find it very fullfilling to serve others through the many opportunites available in a lay church.
