Hi I'm Anita

I'm a Mormon and I am the mother of 5, grandmother of 21 and great grandmother of 7. I keep busy and happy and love my life!

About Me

I was born and raised in an active latter-day saint family with 1 sister and 3 brothers in Idaho. My friends and I enjoyed so much the sheltered and friendly atmosphere there and participated in activities the town had to offer. I graduated first in my high school class of 552 and went on to attend Brigham Young University. I married my high school sweetheart and we raised 5 children and now have 21 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. We have had many ups and downs in our life but have weathered them all and have now been married over 50 years. I have been priviledged to be a stay-at-home Mom and to be able to use all the things I have learned over the years in that capacity. I love to read, do crafts and learn new skills, like using the computer. And I love to teach both by example and sharing. My husband and I had the experience of serving an eighteen-month mission in LaPaz, Bolivia, a few years ago. Everything I do in the Church brings me happiness and fulfillment.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was raised in the Church, I desired to be converted with my own testimony and it came little by little until I knew that all the things I had studied and learned were true. My faith gives me the peace to live confidently in this troubled world since I know where I came from, why I am here and where I am going when I leave this existence. It helps me enjoy each new day with a smile on my face and a song in my heart, regardless of its challenges. I know that God hears and answers my prayers and that gives me great security, even though He doesn't always answer in the way I expected, I know it is always what is best for me in the long run.

How I live my faith

I attend my meetings regularly and try my best to keep Heavenly Father's commandments, repenting when necessary. I also try to serve my family and others whenever the occasion arises. And I love to share my testimony of the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. that others might find the joy I have.
