Hi I'm Danny

I'm a red head who loves to snowboard, wakeboard and play golf year round. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Mesa, AZ. I come from a family of 7. I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters. I grew up in the middle of the orange groves so I spent much of my younger years running around outside. I was always active doing something! I come from a large extended family as well. I have many memories playing with all my cousins. Family has always been an important part of my life. I am a father of 3 beautiful children that I love more than anything in this world! I married the most beautiful girl in Mesa, AZ and have been happily married for almost 7 years now. I recently graduated from college 4 years ago. I am an entrepreneur at heart. I am in the construction and real estate business. I grew up playing a lot of golf, baseball, basketball and football. I enjoy being active and involved in many things. I love the outdoors. I love camping with my two boys! One of my favorite things to do in the world is snowboard!

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I know that the teaching of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints brings me peace, joy and happiness into my life and the life of my family. I was born and raised in the church, however, In my younger years I went through a period of my life that I wasn't too interested in church or anything that had to do with it. I found myself distancing myself from my family and focusing more of my time, efforts and energies on hanging out with friends and doing things that were contrary to how I was raised. As a boy having grown up in the church it was expected of me to go on a mission when I was 19 years old to teach people about what I believed. I decided that if I were going to go on a mission I had better figure out for myself what I believed. After I moved away to college I decided to find out for myself if what my parents had taught me growing up was really true and was something I wanted to pursue in my life. I spent a year up in UT attending school at UVSC and it was during that year in my life that I started to study the principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to find out for myself what it was all about. During that year before my mission I came to a knowledge of the important message that members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints have to offer. The same church that the Savior himself organized when he was on the earth has been restored again today! We have a living prophet and 12 apostles on the earth again today. Just as Peter, James and John preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those in Corinth and Galatia and other ancient cities, there are prophets on the earth today teaching that same Gospel. The Gospel of Peace, Joy, Happiness, Service, Faith, Hope and Charity is on the earth once again! That is an amazing thing to REALLY CONSIDER. I am so grateful to be a Mormon because it helps me become the man that I know my Father in Heaven wants me to be!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to strive to be more like my Savior Jesus Christ. I acknowledge my weaknesses and hope to be able to overcome them through his atoning sacrifice. I find that the best way to always keep him in the front of my mind is by looking for ways to reach out and serve others in need. I have a goal to find a way to better the life of someone else around me each and every day. I fail in that attempt quite often but I try to make that a motto in my life. When there is someone in need I want to be the first one to put aside my own worries and be able to help him/her out in their struggles. Having the knowledge that I have of the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ and enjoying the happiness that come from living the teachings of Jesus Christ has made me want to share those same blessings with those around me. I try to live my life in a way that would reflect in some way the life of the Savior. Once I again, I often fail at that endeavor but that is truly the desire of my heart! I want to be known as a person that TRULY CARES about other people. I want to be known as the one that goes out of his way to make someone else feel happy or loved. The only way that can ever happen is if I put into practice the teaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ into my life. I will be the first one to admit that I fall short in many aspects of my life when it comes to living the teachings of the gospel, however I will never stop trying to become a better person each day. I will never stop trying to become more like my Savior Jesus Christ, who gave his life for me so that I could repent and be better each day of my life. I try to be involved in the community. I am involved in Rotary Club in my local area which I have found that to be a great cause. I also try to fulfill the callings that the church gives to me what ever they may be. I have served as a youth leader and an instructor to both children and adults.
