Hi I'm Kim

I'm an Arizona native, a wife to an amazing husband, and a mother to a beautiful baby boy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 2 and a half years ago and shortly thereafter married my best friend. We welcomed a precious baby boy into our family this past May and are loving each day as new parents. I graduated from college with a bachelor's degree in Nutritional Sciences.

Why I am a Mormon

I was introduced to the church in high school when my brother joined it and decided to go on a mission. I then went off to college and it wasn't until my senior year that I started to investigate the church. I was given a copy of the Book of Mormon and started reading it. Once I started, I couldn't stop. Reading the Book of Mormon made me feel something I had never felt before. After praying about whether I should be baptized, I knew that the church was true. I have been blessed in so many ways these past couple of years having the Gospel as a foundation in my life and I would be truly lost without it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading my scriptures every day and learning from them. My husband and I read and pray together every night and this has helped us to keep our family centered around the Gospel and to remember the important things in life and why we are here. My husband and I teach Sunday school for 8-year olds and not only is it incredibly rewarding, but it has also been a wonderful learning experience for me as a new convert to the church. I love every member in our ward and feel as though they are truly a part of my family.
