Hi I'm David

I'm a Firefighter, a Graphic Designer, and an Outdoor Enthusiast. Oh yeah, I'm also a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a born and bred Texan. I live in the best city, in the best state, in the best country in the world. To top it off, I have the best wife in the universe. I'm the youngest of eight children so I've had my fair share of being picked on and pampered. I served a mission in Paraguay Asuncion, graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Design and now I'm a firefighter. I love my life and look forward to the possibilities of where each day can take me.

Why I am a Mormon

Quite simply, striving to live the true Gospel of Jesus Christ gives me direction. It is a relentless anchor in an ever–changing, and often, demoralizing world. Although there may have been, and sometimes still are times of rebellion in my life, I always know where to turn for constant, eternal truth and guidance.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by simply living life to the fullest everyday. Those around you can see a reflection of your beliefs in your everyday actions. I try to reflect positivity and happiness. I feel that my choice of profession as a Firefighter reflects how I live my faith as well. My whole life I have strived to reflect the actions of a "Good Samaritan" spoken of in the New Testament, whether that be as simple as stopping to assist someone with a flat tire or responding to a fire or medical emergency.
