Hi I'm Margaret

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Salt Lake City early on, then lived mostly in Parowan, UT. I'm an avid reader and I like to garden

About Me

I was born in 1920, the 2nd child of nine, born to special parents who faced challenges of world wars, education, and raising a large family with few resources. I would hope some of these self reliant traits were passed on. I have lived through many like trials such as WWII, depressions, loss of two of five childen, etc. I have tried to retain my faith in Jesus Christ through many crisis and He has always sustained and guided me through lifes travails. I would cherish being known as a disciple of Christ. Being a Mormon helps me realize that true joy comes from serving others as our Savior has shown us. I truly desire to be like Him. This is key to our religion.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born of active LDS parents and ancestors who helped restore the original Church of Jesus Christ to the earth in these latter days. I was not born with a testimony of this work, I had to gain my own testimony by living the gospel and learning it's precepts and keeping covenants made at baptism and in holy Temples.

How I live my faith

I pray to a Heavenly Father who I know hears and answers my prayers. I attend church each Sunday even though deafness and age are making it more challenging. I pay my tithes and offerings gladly. I try to keep the Word of Wisdom, the Lord's law of health. I wish I had the health to be of physical service to others, instead I'm being served by faithful children, which blessing I'm most grateful for.
