Hi I'm Tina

I am a wife, a mother of 4 great kids, and a grandmother of 2 beautiful granddaughters. I am a business owner. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My favorite vacation spot is Newport Beach, California. We take our family there every summer, several times. We love to bike, play volleyball, football, basketball, frisbee, and boogie board. I have 4 kids. They all are very athletic. I love watching them play their games. I only have 1 son left in high school. He plays basketball. I am his biggest fan. I am the president of the Baskteball Booster Club. I love being involved. I also have 2 beautiful granddaughters. Being a grandparent is the best!!! My husband and I own a business. We work together in our home office. We have so much fun together. He is my best friend. We also have 5 horses. We love our horses. We go horseback riding as a family all the time. It has really helped our family bond to have so many things that we all enjoy.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church when I was 18. I first became interested by watching a friend of mine since high school. He was preparing to go on a mission. We went to college together, and worked in the same mall. He would come by the store I worked in daily and talk to me. He would ask me things like "Why do you drink?" I responded with "I don't know, why don't you?" He responded with explaining about the word of wisdom, and how drinking was bad for your body. I would ask him "why don't you date girls from our school?" He responded: "I want to be married in the temple for all eternity, and in order to do that I have to marry someone worthy to go there, so I date girls that are worthy of that." I found the temple so fascinating. I never had heard that families could be together forever. One day I asked him what time his church started. He was very surprised. I went to church the next Sunday. When I was sitting in the chapel I had an overwhelming feeling of being HOME. I had never been there, but felt like i had always been there. I saw my favorite teacher from High School there. He invited me to meet the missionaries. I started taking the lessons from them, and after reading the Book of Mormon, I prayed about its truth. I can tell you that I KNOW IT IS THE WORD OF GOD! I know that Jesus is the Christ, and our Redeemer. I know Heavenly Father loves each of us. I know that This church is Jesus Christ's church. I know my family will live together forever, and I am so grateful for that.

How I live my faith

I am currently teaching 5-6 year olds in primary. I love how sweetly innocent they are. I have taught the Young Women in the church until very recently. I love the youth. I have taught the women of the church in the past, and love working with the sisters. I love sharing experiences with other women. I love volunteering in the community. I help out at the High School as much as I can.
