Hi I'm Bobby C

I'm a wakeboarder. I'm a high school student. I'm an Eagle Scout. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a junior in high school. I love wakeboarding, golfing, spending time with family and friends, and playing ultimate Frisbee. I am an adventurous kid and will always be on the move. If I am not always moving or doing something then I am bored to tears. I love the outdoors, especially the mountains and nature. I like to eat a lot and party.

Why I am a Mormon

First of all I am a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I decided to join this church at the age of 10 and to this day I do not regret it. When I was 9 my step dad introduced us to the LDS church and started to teach us (My Mom, Sister, and me) a little about it. After some time the missionaries started to come by and to really teach the gospel and more importantly answer ALL of our questions. After half a year went by, my sister and my mother joined the church and I decided that I had to make this decision for my self and let no one pressure me, so I decided not to join. The rest of that year rolls by and as I keep getting ALL of my questions answered by members, missionaries and by my step dad, I realized how much I know about the Mormon religion. As mothers day was rolling around, I had a though/prompting that said “You, Bobby, know more about the LDS church than you ever did in you entire life know about the Catholic Church. This one thought changed my life and ended up in me being baptized on Mothers Day. That one day is the second best but most important day in my life. (The first best day is the day that my spirit and body were united and I became a baby boy)

How I live my faith

I live my faith be making sure i stand up to what I believe. Everyday i go to school knowing what people think about me but most importantly who i am. My calling in the LDS church is to home teach 3 families. These families i have an opportunity to go see once a month. I get to check in on them and see if they need any service that i can provide for them. Being in the church is truly a blessing because I realize when I keep the commandments and live a life like a saint and a missionary of Jesus Christ, I can receive blessings and feel promptings from Jesus Christ and my Heavenly Father.
