Hi I'm Bob.

I'm a Mormon. I live in Arizona. I'm a finish carpenter. I'm into sports and enjoy watching a good game.

About Me

I was born in Kansas, the youngest of 3 boys. I loved living on our farm and working in the fields. My dad let me start driving the tractor when I was eight years old. My family moved to Arizona in 1957. I graduated from high school and served an LDS mission in New England. I also served two years in the U.S Army, mostly in Germany. I love my wife, children and grandkids. Love to be in the outdoors, especially in the mountains, and I love fast cars.

Why I am a Mormon

When the Mormon missionaries rode their bikes about 15 miles out to our farm in Kansas, my dad accepted the Joseph Smith story and began reading the Book of Mormon. A smoker for many years, he also accepted the challenge from the missionaries to stop smoking and was able to quit immediately. Even as a boy, I believed the Joseph Smith story. Now that I am older, my testimony is firm in the facts. I believe that Christ organized a chruch; that there was an apostasy and the church was taken from the earth. This brought about the need for a restoration of the church and that is what Joseph Smith was called to do in these latter days.

How I live my faith

No one wants a broken watch, a broken phone, or a broken computer, but the Lord is asking us to have a broken heart. What does that mean? I think it is like a horse that has been broken. The will of the horse has become the will of his master or the rider, and when the rider pulls to the right the horse turns to the right, or to the left, or stops. I live my faith by putting my trust in line with the will of my Heavenly Father's will and by trying my best to live my life as He would have me live. I love the church and it's teachings.
