Hi I'm Telisa

I am a Mother of 3 boys. I am a Digital Designer. I am an avid DIYer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am first and foremost a wife and supporter to my husband who is going on his 9th year post graduate on his way to becoming an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. I am a Mother of 2 boys, soon to be 3, ages 3 and under. I am constantly painting and decorating things around my house while trying to pick up after all the boys (including my husband:)). I love to make old things new again. I am addicted to digital designing (and chocolate). I love to play any and all sports and am excited for the day when I can take my boys on in a game of basketball (I am not excited for the day when they can beat me). I dream of traveling the world with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was extremely blessed to grow up in a loving, Christ-centered family that taught me from an early age where true happiness and peace comes from. It comes from knowing that I am a daughter of a Heavenly Father who loves me, knows me and is always there for me. It comes from knowing that I have a Savior, a Brother, who died for me so that I can repent from my sins and return to live with Him and my family. It comes from knowing that if I live righteously and listen to the whisperings of the Spirit, I will be saved from much heartache in my life. It comes from knowing that the words of the Book of Mormon are true. I am a Mormon because I know the gospel of it to be true and the ultimate source of happiness.

How I live my faith

My faith is an integral part of my daily life and not sure how I would live without it. I live my faith by trusting in my Heavenly Father's plan for me and thanking him daily for the many blessings that He has given me. I live my faith be helping organize monthly meetings and activities for the women in our church to bring them closer to Christ and each other. I live my faith by adhering to the counsel that the Prophet and leaders of this church give us. I live my faith by constantly striving to be a better person, although at times I know I can do better.
