Hi I'm Gerry

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised on a ranch, loved it, learned how to work. I was married in the Temple to a great husband and was blessed with eight wonderful children. I have always loved working hard and have served as a leader in the church in many capacities. I love to quilt, crochet, and work in my yard. I enjoy canning and I always try to listen to my leaders.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were mormons and my father was a bishop. My whole life I have been taught about the gospel and i have always loved its teachings. I was baptized in a creek at the age of eight. I have a very strong Testimony. I know that Jesus is the Christ and I have been very close to him many times as I have been sick, I have felt his presence very strongly. I try hard to be an example and teach my grandchildren and help them. I hope that I can stand with my husband in the next life and be with our father in heaven. My hope is that others can find happiness and peace in the gospel of Jesus Christ as I have.

How I live my faith

When my husband came home from the Navy we taught sunday school. Afterwards I was asked to serve in the Women's organization as a president. I Have also assisted in serving in the the youth organizations and have spent time serving in the Temple. I love visiting teaching and I have excellent home teachers and visiting teachers. I help in making quilts for the historical society in my community. It is especially fun in making quilts for service projects and in helping others.
