Hi I'm Marilee, RN

I'm a 6th generation Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on a farm in Northwestern Montana. I was married in 1975, had six children, and went through divorce after 14 years of marriage. Twenty years ago I remarried in the temple. We reside in the middle of the Arizona desert north of Eloy. Being a country girl, I love the peace and quiet of the countryside and grow flowers. I currently commute 60 miles each way to work fulltime as a registered nurse in a large metropolitan hospital. I am also a fulltime student in a family nurse practitioner program. I hope to provide Rural primary care upon completion of my current educational experience. I have seven grandchildren, and two more on the way.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a sixth generation Mormon and proud of it. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that my Father in Heaven lives, knows me personally, and loves me infinitely. Being a Mormon provides me with a sure foundation for facing all the challenges life throws at me.

How I live my faith

My Faith is all encompassing in my life. I cannot separate it out. It envelops and imbues me with the teachings of Jesus Christ. I try to discern my path through life - daily - striving to choose the right, to serve others, to be kind and compassionate, to follow the teachings of the gospel. I freely ask for heavenly guidance and receive divine inspiration to guide my path. I know that when I am doing my part, when I am obedient to the truths I have been given that I then receive the warm companionship provided through divine personal revelation. My faith defines me. With my faith I am a better nurse, a better mother, wife, grandmother, citizen, neighbor and servant of God.
